Bayflex® LS

High-quality decorative surface with pleasant tactile properties

Bayflex® LS is an aliphatic polyurethane system used for high-quality decorative surfaces in car interiors. Apart from its excellent processing properties, a major advantage of this system is the coloring potential, because the system can be colored in advance by adding the colorant to the raw material component A (polyol). It is also possible to add the color directly in the mixing head through a separate feed line, i.e. immediately before it enters the mold.

In contrast to aromatic polyurethane surfaces, there is no need here for any additional step such as in-mold coating (IMC) or the subsequent application of a surface coating in order to attain adequate color stability of decorative surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.
