Spray system
The styrene-free GRP alternative
Material research teams are constantly developing new ideas to optimize work procedures and protect man and the environment. Our innovative Multitec® polyurethane spray system is a good example of just such an idea. It is an intelligent alternative to glass fiber-reinforced plastics made of unsaturated styrene-based polyester resins, and, importantly, does entirely without solvents.
The Multitec® family of products is extremely versatile. They can be used just as easily to manufacture solid components as to produce a coating for reinforcing thermoformed thermoplastic film. Their broad range of applications extends from sanitary articles and utility vehicle components to leisure goods. Applied by the spray process at room temperature, with or without fillers and glass fibers, the fast- curing polyurethane system can be adapted individually to specific requirements. In addition, a new, all-cellular product now offers even easier processing.
