Bayflex® SA/SP
Made-to-measure comfort
Bayflex® SA is a molded, solid PU material, reinforced with up to 70 % by weight fillers. It is used for acoustic insulation in vehicle interiors, especially for bulkhead cladding. Blending it with Bayfit® TEC produces a homogeneous combination of polyurethane materials for the damping of both structure-borne and air-borne sound through an optimum fit of the relevant parts.
Bayflex® SP has the same properties, but offers greater flexibility due to the fact that it can be processed by spraying. This method allows the inexpensive and simple production of high-quality surfaces in only one mold half. This process is particularly interesting for the spot application of heavy-layer systems on carpet backing.
