Baytec® P
Elastomer systems for high wear resistance
In the Baytec® P system pre-polymers with low NCO-contents (approx. 3 to 8%) are transformed under increased temperatures (approx. 80°C) into PUR elastomers by using dioles or diamines. The low NCO content results in a high mixing ratio of pre-polymer / crosslinking agent (approx. 100:7 to 100:20). On the one hand the ratios and processing conditions require machines with exact metering equipments that can be heated, and on the other high-grade elastomers are being produced this way. In general these elastomers need to undergo thermal post-treatment in order to obtain optimum characteristics.
